Our Why

​

Wildflower Wives was never just about baked goods. It was built on love, courage, and the decision to live life as our true selves.

​

We think a lot about the example we’re setting for our nieces. Kids notice more than people realize. They watch how you treat people, how you talk about yourself, and whether you go after the life you actually want.

​

So we try to live in a way that shows them they don’t have to shrink themselves to fit in. That being different isn’t something to hide. That you can care deeply about others and still stay true to who you are.

At the same time, this isn’t just about us or our family.

We want this space to mean something to other people too.

Wildflower Wives is meant to bring people together. To create a place where you can show up as you are, feel welcome, and not feel alone. Whether you’re stopping by for something sweet, visiting the farm, or just needing a moment of comfort, we want you to feel like you belong here.

As a queer-owned business, that matters deeply to us. We know what it feels like to question where you fit or if you’re too different. So we’ve built this with intention. A space where LGBTQ+ people are not just accepted, but genuinely safe, seen, and celebrated.

And for anyone who walks through our doors, our hope is simple:

Because this life we’re building started as a dream too. There were moments it felt unrealistic, moments we doubted ourselves, moments it would’ve been easier to stay small. But we didn’t.
